High Green in Bloom

High Green in Bloom High Green in Bloom are a group of volunteers aiming to improve our green spaces for the community to enjoy. We enter the annual Yorkshire in Bloom competition.

We work mostly in Mortomley Park, organise the village annual gala & village Christmas Lights.

Alas, sad to say this morning that while the majority of High Greeners respect what we do in the park, some feel they can just pop in and remove plants to fill their own gardens just like visiting the garden center..but for free...we have had a number of plants, shrubs and small trees removed over the last few weeks....these are all provided by High Green in Bloom, growing them ourselves, raising funding by what ever means so we can provide others...its disappointing but we'll carry on regardless...heres just a few nice blooms from today to cheer us up...😊👍🌼🌸
