It’s Mental Health Awareness Week 💚
One of the best things we can do for our mental wellbeing is get outside, slow down, and reconnect with nature. If you’re feeling isolated, stressed, overwhelmed, or low in mood, spending time outdoors can have a real positive impact.
Our allotments are a welcoming space to get some fresh air, meet people, learn new skills, and enjoy the benefits of nature and community.
Why not come along and see what we’re about? 🌱

The weather wasn't all that great today but it didn't dampen our spirits. We had a lot of work to catch up on. We also had a visitor... Andy from Sage Greenfingers project at Grimesthorpe Allotments who was very willing to get stuck in with the work.

Our Tuesday women's session had a very productive day. Weeding an abundant strawberry bed. Covering corn and coriander from the cheeky pigeons. Planting squash and pumpkin and watering and tidying. Wonderful to see the group sharing information between each other across generations and cultures.
