Just an update due to the weather forecast we have made the difficult decision to cancel the drop in tonight. We want to support our community but we also want that community to be safe. If anyone does need to speak to someone SANDS do have helplines available.

We will, hopefully be back to normal for Thursday 12th February

The recent tragic death of a 15-year-old boy has brought the pain of child loss sharply into focus for so many in our community. It's a stark reminder that while the circumstances surrounding the death of a child can be vastly different, the shared experience of grief is profound and deeply personal.

At Sheffield SANDS, we support families in Sheffield / South Yorks who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby, whether through stillbirth, sudden infant death, or late miscarriage for example. We know that grief is complex and doesn't follow a set pattern. While our stories may be different the raw, overwhelming love for that child, and the gaping hole left by their absence, connects us.

If you're struggling with the loss of a baby, please know that you are not alone. We offer a safe and supportive space for bereaved parents and families in Sheffield / South Yorks. We are here to listen, to understand, and to offer support. Please reach out to us.

Due to the awful weather we won't have a drop in support session this month (January). We hope to go back to normal on 13th February!
