It was a busy evening at
WI.N.E.S. AGM this week....
We presented a cheque to our charity, Tools with a mission, another of our talented members Diane presented a interesting talk on Constance Spry, our committee was elected and thanks were given to all who have contributed to our very active W.I. over the last year. What a team ☺.

Another of our talented members entertained us at our last meeting with her talk on ART/SCIENCE COLLABORATIONS .Lynne told us how she had the fantastic career opportunity to travel to Australia to paint, sketch and make textured sculptures all linking to numerous subjects from sheep shearers to plastic surgery.
Lynne is available to offer her professional talk to other WI's.Msg for her details.
Sue Denton chair of SYFWI and Sian Holmes WI were also welcomed to our meeting.

Our member Sarah entertained us with a fascinating talk of her road trip through Namibia. A cold wet evening was transformed by amazing photos of her trip.

Our group enjoyed celebrating Christmas with Duke Street Gospel singers,tasty food (eaten before chance to take a photo) ,Christmas quiz and Christmas necklace conga. 🤶 🎄 🎉

Swwop Ltd were our charity last year and we've kept in touch. Our members generously have made up Christmas gift bags and donated lots of warm clothing. 🤶 🎄 ️🎁 🧥 🧤 🧦
