We Are Haven

2027 will be Haven's final planned year as an official Run For All charity partner, and we'd love to make it our biggest and most impactful year yet!

Over the past two years, our amazing runners and fundraisers have raised an incredible £17,000 for Haven. Together, we're hoping to make that £30,000 by the end of our final partnership year, but we can't do it without supporters like you.

The need for Haven's services has never been greater. A recent Sheffield needs assessment estimates that around 40,000 children and young people locally are affected by domestic abuse, a significant increase from previous estimates of 26,000.

Haven remains the only independent charity in Sheffield dedicated to supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse, and demand continues to outstrip the funding available.

Our amazing designer, Alex, who designed our website, resources and promotional materials, has designed a lioness for Pride of Yorkshire!

Alex was asked to design the lioness by Sheffield icons Arctic Monkeys 🤩

Make sure you grab a trail map 🗺️ to find her and the many other amazing lionesses & lions around Sheffield and South Yorkshire, and help raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity 💙

Huge thank you to Travail Employment Group - Sheffield for organising another impressive collection Easter eggs from their generous clients.

We are incredibly grateful for the 185 chocolate eggs which will definitely bring smiles to many children this Easter 🍫🐰
Please note our office is closed on bank holidays and weekends, so we will be back in the office on Tuesday 7th April.

What an incredible day at the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday! 🏃‍♂️✨

A huge thank you to all the runners who took part - your commitment and passion are what make events like this so special. And of course, we couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers, whose time, enthusiasm, and support keep everything running smoothly, even when it started to rain!

We’re also incredibly grateful to the supermarkets who kindly donated raffle prizes, helping us raise around £200. This will go towards supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse, making a real difference where it’s needed most 💜
