With our Annual Memorial Service now just over a week away, we wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to Faye from Designs By Fayley for creating this beautiful personalised wind chime for our Memorial Garden. 💙

The wind chime carries the names of all the babies and children from our Birthday Book, lovingly written by families during one of our recent coffee mornings. Each name represents a life forever loved, forever remembered.

When the breeze catches it in our blossom tree, we hope it brings a quiet moment of comfort, reflection and connection for every family who visits.

Thank you, Faye, for such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture. It will be treasured for years to come. 💙🕊️

When a Friend Loses a Baby 🤍

When a friend loses a baby, you don’t need the perfect words. Just show up.

What is something that mattered to you??

A few things that can help

🤍 Say their baby’s name.
🤍 Let them grieve without trying to fix it.
🤍 Check in, even months later.
🤍 Remember important dates.
🤍 Offer practical help—meals, errands, or simply sitting beside them.
🤍 Most importantly, don’t disappear because you’re afraid of saying the wrong thing.

Your presence matters more than perfect words. 🩷🩵

A huge thank you to The Sitwell Arms for being the main sponsors of Mac’s Healing Hearts and for continuing to support the work we do for grieving parents and families.

Since April, an amazing 484 Signature Dishes have been sold, with 50p from every dish donated to Mac’s Healing Hearts. That’s £242 raised so far, simply through people enjoying a meal.

We’re especially grateful that the dishes use bay leaves from Mac’s memory tree. It’s a lovely way of keeping Mac’s memory present while helping provide support to parents going through an incredibly difficult and significant time in their lives.

We’re so thankful to The Sitwell Arms for not only supporting our charity, but for embracing what Mac’s Healing Hearts stands for and helping us reach more families when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who has tucked into a Signature Dish and played a small part in making a big difference. 💙
