Thank you to everyone who came along to our Heritage day yesterday at the Gatty Hall

💃 We had a 1940’s tea dance from Sheffield Sequence and Ballroom Dances
🎤A beautiful sing along from the very talented Laura Chambers Knight
🎸An brilliant performance from The George Formby Society - South Yorkshire Branch
🎺 And the day was ended with a wonderful performance from Chapeltown Silver Prize Band

The volunteers all worked hard to bring you afternoon tea and even the odd glass of fizz, with many walking the Heritage trail throughout the day.

Yesteryear Vintage Vehicle Hire and Candeo Wedding Carriages helped people to explore the heritage trail in vintage style and the St Mary's Church Ecclesfield opened their doors for historical tours too.

We had lots of fun, it was a real team effort from all those involved to bring it together. We also want to thank Ecclesfield Parish Council and North Local Area Committee for all their help and support, without them it wouldn’t be possible.

On May 10th, if you’re in the S35 area, you’ll be able to book your own private return journey around the Ecclesfield Heritage Trail where we will pick you up and drop off — a completely unique way to experience the event.
