Planters around the village have had their summer bedding installed. At the moment they're well watered but over the summer as more warmer drier days arise watering can be pretty hard. Please if you live opposite or near one could you drop some water on them. It's a two minute job but helps those who've volunteered to grow and plant them up so the village looks more attractive in a massive way.

Creating a splash of colour on Main Road

anyone fancy helping out to cut back some dominant grasses near the Renishaw entrance near Emmett Carr Lane where the flowering tubs are located ?
Job would be to cut back, simply scarify the top soils and scatter in the seed and tread down.
I have some wildflower mixes that can be used. It would be interesting to see what the results might look like.

Today with Mosborough History Group we were able to look around the older parts of Mosborough Hall. The site has been occupied since at least the 11th century with the present buildings dating from the 13th/14th. Owned by a number of different people with local historical connections. Grade 2 listed.
