Let's talk about malnutrition.

In the UK, around 1 in 10 older people are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition. For some, this can be linked to living alone, poor health, low income, reduced mobility, or simply not having anyone to share a meal with.

At Transport 17, we help tackle this by taking members of our elderly community to lunch clubs, where they can enjoy a hot, nutritious meal alongside something just as important — great company.

Because food matters, but so does connection.

It's our last day of Volunteers Week

Not all volunteering happens on the road — today we’re saying thank you to our fantastic trustees

Our trustees give their time, knowledge and experience to help guide Transport 17 and make sure we can continue supporting the community now and in the future.

They help with planning, decision-making, governance, fundraising ideas and keeping T17 moving in the right direction.

Their work often happens behind the scenes, but it is absolutely vital.
