We have explored George Muller and used his life story as part of the growth of Besom but nationally and locally. It’s a good and inspiring read and very inspirational. Give it a go!

This week many will be remembering the inspiring 'George Müller' for his generosity, kindness, and love for the poor. As Besom-ers, we'll also be remembering him for his courage and fervent faith in God's provision for the needs of those he served. He never fundraised but always prayed for what he needed to serve the poor and God provided.

It's been written in one of his accounts that he once prayed for food and God prompted a baker and a milkman to bring bread and milk to the orphanage on the exact morning when the children lacked breakfast. There are countless unexpected miracles of God's provision because George prayed and trusted that God would provide.

Father God, please help us carry on exercising our faith in prayer, believing that when we lift up the needs of the people we serve in our communities and within our network, you'll listen and provide!🙏

Here's one of the inspiring stories of 'George Müller and the Orphans'- https://thinkfaith.net/2024/07/25/the-inspiring-story-of-george-muller-and-the-orphans/

This is what outrageous generosity looks like. All these are for three large families. There is enough food for two weeks as well as treats, crackers and many other items including presents. All of the food is well in date and none of it is from a value range. Thank you Lord for your peoples love for those who otherwise would not have a happy Christmas.

This weekend we are holding our Northern Cluster Meeting in Manchester at St St Werburgh's Church. We are hoping for a move of the Spirit amongst us. Please will you pray that we will respond to what ever direction God has for us. We need to bold in responding because it is not our battle but the Lords. We travel the path which he has laid before us not one of our choosing. Thank you.
