Lovely afternoon at the final Don Valley Group Meeting. Lynda and Sandra did a great job teaching us some line dances and we were all ready for a sit down to enjoy some lovely food provided by Wadsley WI. Thank you to Crosspool WI being front of house, Kath for the flowers and of course thank you to our President Janet.

Yesterday evening’s speaker was Imogen Johnson, a Women’s Health Coach. Her session was called Boost Energy and Feel Fabulous. So interesting and engrossing that I only took the one photo before she started talking to us.
We had a questionnaire to fill in which she guided us through.
At the end of the session we each had four things to take away which we felt would improve our health and well being.

Highly recommended.

Not really a Wednesday walk but a lovely day spent in the Botanical Gardens followed by lunch in their cafe.

Proud of us!! Phil and I have walked from Rowell Bridge to Malin Bridge and back with a lovely lunch at Towsure. Thanks to Dungworth WI Walking Wednesday Group for showing us this walk. Enjoy the Botanical Gardens tomorrow and see you at WI on Thursday. Jayne

Our meeting last night.
Brogan Collins is a fully certified Celebrant.
He entertained us with stories and educated us on how we can tailor our funeral to exactly how we want it to be.
Ideally he will meet with a person to get to know them and their life history. He will try to reflect, honour and celebrate our life.
Very interesting speaker.

He is also a successful professional Buddy Holly performer.

Three of our members braved the heat today for a walk round Elsecar Lake, the rest of us chickened out and had a coffee under the shade of the trees 🌲

Another lovely day at Wentworth Woodhouse today , Elizabeth, Christine & Jayne walked down to the lake whilst we had a leisurely walk up to the house and had coffee. Jayne saw two more Lions. Lovely lunch at Wentworth Emporium afterwards.
