When creating our latest alpaca trekking advert, Meta was very keen to suggest these ‘helpful’ Ai variations on our original photo... 🦙✈️😂

Apparently, alpacas belong:

✈️ on aeroplane wings
🏔️ in dramatic mountain landscapes
🏡 standing in people's living rooms
📸 photobombing selfies in gigantic form

Despite Metas great ideas, we decided to stick with the real Picasso enjoying the top meadow. And don't worry, Picasso remains safely in Sheffield and has shown no interest in aviation.

From fluffy clouds to a bunch of pipe cleaners ✂️🦙

Our annual shearing day has transformed the trekking herd once again, and some of this year's biggest transformations belong to the youngsters having their very first haircut.

Picasso has lost his brown baby fleece and emerged an entirely different colour!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with shearing day this week✂️🦙 The alpacas and sheep are now much cooler and more comfortable heading into summer, and another impressive mountain of fleece has been collected. Special thanks to our shearer Bob Shaw and team for another calm and efficient day, and to all the volunteers who helped everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
