Fully Funded Outdoor Activities
Adventures Away from Home (AAfH) 25/26 funding is designed to give young people facing significant barriers equitable access to outdoor learning.
Lindley Educational Trust are intending to deliver this programme and are inviting early expressions of interest for 1-day, 1-night or 2-night residential outdoor learning experiences for young people aged 11–18 (and up to 25 for SEND).
A range of exciting activities are available including caving, rock climbing, high ropes, hill walking, raft building and canoeing.
This government funded programme is looking to reach 30,000 under-represented and disadvantaged young people across England.
Which Young People are eligible to attend Adventures away from Home 25/26?
Adventures Away from Home exists to give under-represented and disadvantaged young people the chance to step outside their everyday lives, explore unfamiliar environments, and build vital social, emotional, and life skills.
AAfH 25/26 aims to reach young people facing significant barriers, working with groups from youth, education, and faith settings, including but not limited to:
Funded activity is available from early October until 31st March 2026.
