Well that was all rather lovely wasn't it?

We can't pretend the past couple of years have been easy, or that there haven't been times where it felt impossible that we'd ever be back in the park, surrounded by so much love and happiness.

And of course we'd like to thank the people who make it all possible, to Rob and his crew for building the stages, to everyone who performed, to the wonderful sound systems and crews who filled the park with music, to all the stall holders who kept us fed, to all the people who've gone the extra mile and lent us kit to keep everyone safe, to the first aiders & police for looking out for anyone who needed help, to the photographers who came and captured oh so many beautiful moments during the day,to everyone who volunteered their time and energy into making this happen and keeping the park clean or helped with our ongoing fundraising efforts to keep the festival alive.

And last - but by no means least - to all of you.

Whether you've been just for the day,.or a fundraiser over the last 18 months - your love for and support of the festival has kept us going, and in turn keeps his beautiful thing going. The festival is far more yours than anyone else's, you bring life to things, and being part of that is wonderful ♥️

Could we have any more special announcements for Sharrow Festival? Apparently not!

We now have PETE NOT BOMBS from the mighty Roots Corner at Shambala Festival, opening the Music Stage at Sharrow Festival 2026!

Pete Not Bombs is not only a super talented DJ and Pianist, he’s also a sound engineer regularly travelling across the UK and Europe, creating sound and lighting installs for music events, circus and theatre.

Pete Not Bombs has a lot of genuine enthusiasm when he plays his DJ sets and has so much grace when he works on the production of sonic installations.

Not only is he the sound engineer for the come back of Sharrow Festival 2026 Music Stage, in its full glory, but he is also treating us to an Afro infused feast to open to the fest.

We are so excited and you should be!!! What a treat 😊

Sharrow Festival 2026 Returns with Four Stages of Local Talent

One of Sheffield's longest-running community celebrations returns on Saturday 4th July as Sharrow Festival 2026 brings a full day of live music, dance, art, food and family activities to Mount Pleasant Park.

This year's festival showcases the city's creativity across four distinct areas: The Music Stage, Community Stage, Youth Stage and the Sheffield Graffiti Jam aka The MUGA.

The wonderful Sharrow audiences can enjoy performances from established grassroots artists, emerging young musicians, community performers, dance groups, DJs and live street artists, reflecting the diversity and creativity that have made Sharrow Festival a cornerstone of Sheffield's cultural calendar for decades.

Powered by local organisations, community groups and volunteers, the festival continues its tradition of championing homegrown talent while creating a welcoming space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to celebrate music, culture and community.

With live entertainment throughout the day, FURD (Football Unites Racism Divides) international food, market stalls, tea tent to relax, drumming tent, workshops and activities for all the family, Sharrow Festival promises another vibrant celebration in the heart of Sheffield. There will also be a Sharrow Festival after party with the mighty Riddimtion and friends at The Cremorne on London Road 8pm until late!
