☀️ Throwback to last Wednesday! We hosted a Catch Up for trainees, past and present, to gather on the Grow Farm and socialise over a delicious BBQ.

It was also a special opportunity to celebrate our wonderful team members, Sarah and Charly, as they wrap up their time with Grow. We wish them both the very best in their exciting new chapters! 💚

👜✨ Launching our brand-new Grow tote bag!

We’re so excited to launch our limited‑edition Grow tote bag, created in collaboration with Sheffield artist and illustrator Jamie Mills (https://www.jamie-mills.co.uk/).

Jamie spent time at the Grow Farm gathering stories and inspiration before creating bespoke artwork that beautifully captures our mission - using nature and horticulture as a safe, welcoming space for young people to build skills, confidence and connection.

Each tote is hand‑printed by local social enterprise Printed by Us and made from 100% organic cotton. They’re strong, durable and perfect for everyday use.

🌸 What a marvellous day our trainees Carly and Archie, along with volunteer Jonny, had at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. They spent the day exploring the show gardens, taking in the incredible floral displays, and enjoying the talks on offer.

It’s been a brilliant first week for our latest Grow Training cohort 🌱💚

We’ve welcomed a lovely group of young people to the Grow Farm, and they’ve thrown themselves into all sorts of gardening activities, from weeding and edging to planting French beans, building tipis and getting potato plants in the ground.

They’ve already shown real hard‑working qualities, curiosity and a great attitude. A fantastic start to their journey with us.

A huge thank you to the South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit for this amazing support. The funding goes directly into helping young people in Sheffield build confidence, develop skills and move towards brighter futures.

🌱 Grow UK in Sheffield has been awarded nearly £25,000 from the VRU to support young people facing complex challenges.

The programme helps 16–24-year-olds build confidence, develop skills and earn a wage through part-time, nature-based work. By combining coaching, practical experience and outdoor activities, it supports wellbeing, reduces isolation, and helps young people move into education, employment or training.
