Sheffield University Conservation Volunteers (SUCV)

Sheffield University Conservation Volunteers (SUCV) SUCV are a student run conservation working committee at the University of Sheffield that have been around for 42 years.

We carry out a wide variety of conservation/ecological related events with various organisations in the Sheffield and Peak District areas; including several local environmental groups, Sheffield Wildlife Trust, RSPB, Heeley City Farm, The National Trust, to name but a few. We do all sorts of events from practical tasks (dry stone walling, shrub clearance and tree planting etc.), ecological surveys

, ID workshops and site monitoring in Sheffield & the Peaks! We are working with Moors for the Future on a long term 20 year 'Climate Change Project' monitoring the effects of climate change on animals and vegetation on Kinder Scout.
