Growtheatre Growtheatre: we develop outdoor theatre with and for young people, inspired by the landscape.

Our youth theatres and projects provide a space for children and young people to develop the skills they are going to need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Our focus is to create theatre inspired by local, outdoor spaces (be it an urban landscape, ancient woodland, city park or rural countryside).

Our Youth Theatre groups have had a brilliant start to the autumn term, with lots of fun workshops, theatre games, teamwork and — of course — plenty of time outdoors!

🌱 Juniors have been exploring different theatre skills and discovering creative ways to bring nature into their scenes.

🎭 Intermediates have been experimenting with different theatre spaces, creating shapes and pictures together to help tell stories.

🌙 Seniors have been building new connections, welcoming new members, playing drama games and even taking their scene creation outside into the dark!

It’s been fantastic to see everyone getting stuck in, building confidence, working together and letting their creativity grow. 💚

And this is only the beginning…
