Directions

Knights In Battle Medieval Society Knights in Battle medieval society is a battle & medieval life re-enactment group based in Sheffield.

Knights in Battle is a 15th Century living history society based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. As a group we represent the household of Sir John Howard who went on to become the 1st Duke of Norfolk. Our members portray all roles of society within the household, from the higher echelons, to the lowly kitchen boy. Some of the roles our members take on are:
- Blacksmiths
- Men-at-Arms
- Archers
- Leather Workers
- Cooks
- Armourers
- Woodworkers
- Barber Surgeons

However, these aren't the only roles available. The late medieval period had lots to offer for those willing to endeavour. If any of this interests you, then please send us a message or feel free to simply turn up to our open training sessions every Wednesday and someone will gladly get you involved, please see details below.
