Have you ever wondered how much litter gets left on a mountain bike trail?
All this litter was on Diggers. Just 1x trail.
Diggers is our most popular trail. This is 4x weeks rubbish.
Yes some is probably from people walking up it. I doubt a bottle of Stella was dropped by a rider.......
Many thanks the the RVR volunteers for their hard work. Its not all trail building. Its ensuring the trails are looked after too.

Rother Valley trail conditions.
Ohhhh it's wet!
Please avoid fort elbow until spring.
Its filthy. Loads are still riding it and it's pointless trying to close it. It is a natural trail and we have terrible clay soil in the park that doesn't drain at all.
We now have 2x fully weatherproof trails. Both are surfaced and are riding fantastically. There really is no need to ride fort elbow.
All the damage done during the winter has to be repaired in the spring. This takes up many hours of volunteers free time that could be spent elsewhere.
Trail closures don't work. We have had fences smashed. Netting ripped down. Fallen trees over a full trail, moved. Even cable ties melted to remove barriers.
All to knacker someone's hard work.
Please ride diggers and drift woods. They're great!!!

Many thanks to all the RVR volunteers!
Wow! What an awesome turnout for the big dig day. 9x hardworking riders gave up their Saturday morning, to get the surface finished on drift woods.
Did we finish it???
Yes! And it looks fantastic 😍
We had just enough materials!
We now have a fully weatherproof trails top to bottom.
Drift woods used to be called the jump track.
It has 3x sections to the full trail.
The top section is the ORCHARD.
the middle section is the GRAVEYARD
And the last section is END GAME.
get out there and enjoy it!!!!

The materials have arrived for Saturdays DIG DAY.
This beautiful gritstone will be used to finish the last part of DRIFT WOODS. This will give us another fully weatherproof trails for the winter.
But...we need help. We can't move it without volunteers!
We will be working from 9am at the top of drift woods to move and lay the stone.
With any luck, they'll be a bit spare to make some features too!

We now have a load of shiny new waymarking signs out on the trails!
We have suffered with lots of vandalism unfortunately and we've replaced them quite a few times now.
Hopefully these will survive!
Many thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who helped to produce these beautiful new signs!
