Wow!!! An amazing number of stamps brought to the meeting last night to be donated to the Sheffield Institute for the Blind ...... Even more so as recycling is a big part of this week's 'Great Big Green Week's' theme. Jayne couldn't help calling in to see RUFC's Lion in aid of the Children's Hospital Charity en route to dropping off generous donations to Shiloh as well. Thanks to all members. 🌻👏🌻

A well attended meeting tonight enjoyed a really interesting presentation by Catherine Taggart on '10' things Yorkshire gave the world which included Kit-kats, M & S, Cluedo, Dracula and Sheffield FC (the first Football Club) not missing out Yorkshire Puddings!! After refreshments Maureen Taylor gave a comprehensive account of the recent NFWI Annual Meeting. Great news that our Federation has successfully become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Lyn Cork was our June birthday girl and Dorothy Phoenix won the Competition. Good luck to the ladies playing Croquet on Friday afternoon and to our Treasure Trail team taking part in Chapeltown on Friday evening. Hope everyone has started thinking about entries to our Country Show in September ...... contact Maureen if you need a schedule. Phew ..... A busy night!! 🌻👏🌻

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight ..... Don't forget your Competition entry! 🌻💮🌻

An amazing array of cakes in aid of PROSTATE UK this morning made by Barbara, Jean, Margaret and friends of Bradfield Tennis Club. Great to see so many members of Wadsley Womens Institute and Dungworth WI supporting this wonderful charity. Many of us won a raffle prize ...... In fact Carole Westwood has already got her bird box up in her lovely Cottage Garden. For those members unable to make it this morning there'll be cakes on sale at tonight's meeting. 🤞🤞 Thanks also to Carole for taking the photos. 👏🫖🍰☕👏
