Lovely chilled CRAFTERNOON session today making decoupage Christmas Cards with Maureen Taylor. Jayne wants to thank everyone there who sponsored her in completing Owen's October Challenge in aid of PACT ...... she's walking 5km every day in October whilst the fittest in the group are cycling or running theirs!! Well done to Di, Diane and Lyn who participated in this morning's SYFWI Jigsaw Challenge in Wentworth representing our WI. They had a really enjoyable time and although they didn't win (congratulations to Wath) they put up a good show. In true WI style they enjoyed their refreshments afterwards ..... thanks to Wentworth WI for hosting and the Federation for organising. 🧩🌻🧩🌻🧩

Thanks to all those who brought stamps in last night for the Sheffield Branch of the Royal Society for the Blind. Keep collecting in the run up to Christmas and encourage other family members and friends and neighbours as well. It's a great way to support a really worthwhile charity. 🤩

A really informative and enjoyable presentation tonight from David Greatbatch on ASTRONOMY and SPACE. There were some fantastic questions from the 'floor' as well as discussions over coffee. Di was our October Birthday 'flower' girl and Jayne won the competition. Good luck to our team in the Jigsaw Challenge at Wentworth on Saturday and don't forget it's our Crafternoon session at Morrisons on Monday......All welcome. Next month is our Annual Meeting plus we'll be doing some Christmas Crafting. Please think seriously about whether you could stand for election for the committee ..... many hands make light work. 🌻
