ScrapDragon collects useful waste from businesses and manufacturers, providing an affordable and sustainable resource of play, art, craft and learning material. We collect useful waste materials from local businesses and manufacturers and we accept donations from households. We curate these treasures to provide Sheffield and the surrounding areas with an affordable and sustainable supply of recycled art, craft and play material. You have to be a member to shop with us, but membership is free and open to everyone. You can join when you visit us. Scrapdragon CIC is run entirely by volunteers.

We've wanted to see Carmel Page's show, "The Attercliffe Stupid Club" ever since she came into ScrapDragon looking for a long tube to *not* light pipes with, having decided that rubbing noses was the way forward.

After taking the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Carmel has finally brought it home to Sheffield — and to Walkley Library this evening, where it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.

Carmel is a gifted storyteller, seamlessly weaving historical facts into a captivating tale and bringing the past vividly to life. There were laughs, gasps, moments of utter silence, and, of course, many, many flying teddy bears.

Do not miss the opportunity to see this show! It’s a truly memorable experience!

Let your imagination brew up something far more spectacular than a plastic skeleton - our scrapstore is RAMMED full of useful bits and things you could turn into horrid looking creatures and quotes unsettling decorations..

We're open to EVERYONE Thursday 15th and Friday 16th, 10am - 2pm both days.

We're open tomorrow for new and existing BLUE members! 10am - 1pm.

Yellow and Green members: please be patient, we promise we can't possibly run out of scrap for you, and the shop will still be full of treasures. Details of membership will be on our website very soon :)

Our Blue Membership tier is specifically reserved for schools, charities, nurseries, forest schools, and community artists working directly with regular groups of 25+ people, particularly those supporting children, vulnerable individuals, people with SEN, or marginalised groups on a low income.

As a community resource and a not-for-profit organisation, operating from tiny premises, ScrapDragon relies on these tiers and purchase limits to ensure that our recycled materials are shared fairly and sustainably across the community.

Our primary mission is to support those with limited budgets, prioritising groups and individuals who otherwise could not afford creative resources.

By reserving our highest-volume membership tiers for those who need it, we keep creativity affordable for the people who need it most.

WE'RE BACK!!

The leak is fixed, we've rejigged and rearranged, polyfilled and painted, sanded and hammered away like a team of enthusiastic wombats with tool-belts we fashioned ourselves.

We haven't stopped collecting scrap in the time we've been closed, so the shelves are FULL OF UTTERLY MAGNIFICENT SCRAP!!

The fish will be out for its last outing of the year TODAY! Find us in Hillsborough Park 12pm - 1pm, outside the Sheffield Wednesday FC Owls Megastore 1.15pm - 1.45pm, and around the South Stand car park and entrance 2pm - 2.45pm. It's FREE and all ages are welcome to join in. See you there!
