Wednesdays in S2 are officially LEVELLED UP! 🎉
If you’re popping in for your Foodbank parcel or heading to the Community Shop, we’ve got a whole day of support, food and community lined up.

From 12pm – 2pm we’ve got:
☕ Hot drinks
🍪 Snacks & light food
😊 A warm space to sit, chat and breathe
Perfect while you’re waiting, collecting your parcel, or nipping between Foodbank and the Shop.

Because let’s be honest — we’re all in the same boat, and Wednesdays are about helping one another, looking out for each other, and making the day a bit easier 💙

And THEN…
We roll straight into Community Meal Night! 🥔🔥
Doors open 4:30pm, food served 5pm — and this week it’s Jacket Potato Night with fillings that are ridiculously delicious:

🧀 Cheesy beans
🌶️ Veg chilli
🍄 Creamy garlic mushrooms
🍛 Curry sauce
🥗 Coleslaw
🥚 Egg mayo
🌽 Sweetcorn
🧀 Extra cheese (because… obviously)

Bring your nan 👵
Bring your neighbour 👨‍🦳
Bring your mate from down the road 👋
(Just maybe leave the dog at home 🐶🚫)

Everyone is welcome — FREE or Pay As You Feel.

I'm normally in Wednesday dishing food and drink out to you guys who come to food bank or community shop.

Just making you aware:
Tea sorted this Thursday — and it won’t cost you a penny unless you want it to.

🍠🍠It’s Spud Club: big jacket potatoes topped with cheesy beans or chicken curry, plus cold favourites like coleslaw, egg mayo, and grated cheese.

🍏Pudding is Apple Pie with custard or Ice Cream.

When: Meals served 4.30pm at St Swithun’s, Cary Road, S2 1JP.
FREE or Pay As You Feel.

Bring yourself, the fam a neighbour, you're all welcome! :)
Takeaways available.

Sunday Breakfast: 9.15–10.30am.

Morning all! 💁‍♀️
NOTICE: Community Shop & Food bank users!

Did you know............... if you come to get your shopping on Wednesdays 12 til 2pm you can pop in and eat with us at the Church across the road (where the foodbank is in the foyer)

We always have a brew on the go and hot meal and pudding.
You can eat in or take away and a warm welcome is always on the table!

We also do a FREE or pay as you feel meals & Breakfast on:

Thursdays 4 - 5.30pm 🥘🥘
Hot breakfast on Sundays 9.30am - 10.20am🍳🍳

we would love for you to join us 😁

Run by volunteers who use S2 Foodbank we understand how hard it is at times to have a good meal and an understanding word, when things are tough. There's no shame here, its a case of community supporting each other
