Our community has already shared so many great ideas, and now we need YOU to help us take the next step. Whether you want to give feedback, build on what we've started, or simply be part of a positive, empowering space – these sessions are for you.

Are you looking for a high‑quality Saturday programme that blends academic learning with Islamic studies?

YAFTA (Youth and Family Alliance) is now enrolling for Future School – starting September 2026.

For children aged 5–15 (Reception to Year 7)
🗓 Saturdays | 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
📅 8 months (September – June) | 120 hours of learning

What makes Future School different?
✅ Accredited curriculum with Arabic, Holy Qur’an & Islamic Ethics
âś… Sports, recreational activities, competitions & trips
âś… Fee just ÂŁ285 (pay in two instalments: ÂŁ150 on registration + ÂŁ135 at start)

Her Space Youth Club – A Weekly Club for Girls Aged 10–17

YAFA’s Her Space youth club offers a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for girls aged 10–17 in Netherthorpe and Upperthorpe.

The club runs every Tuesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and is designed to help girls feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Activities include:

· Well‑being chats – talk, matter, support
· Games and challenges – play, laugh, connect
· Arts and crafts – express, create, be yourself
· Sports and fitness – move, energise, feel great

The group is part of the Upperthorpe & Netherthorpe Together initiative, with the motto: Her Space. Her Voice. Her Future.

Youth Club for Boys Aged 13–17 in Netherthorpe & Upperthorpe

YAFA runs a weekly youth club for boys aged 13–17, providing a fun, safe, and welcoming space in the local area.

The club meets every Thursday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, with activities including football, sports, boxing, and video games. It's a great opportunity for young people to stay active, build confidence, and socialise in a positive environment.

The club is part of the Upperthorpe & Netherthorpe Together initiative, and focuses on engaging, empowering, and enabling local young people.
