That whistle doesn't belong to a Premier League referee.
It belongs to a young person giving up their weekend to help others play the game.
They're learning.
They're building confidence.
They're making decisions under pressure.
And just like players, they're going to make mistakes.
The difference is that every mistake is heard by dozens of people on the touchline.
If we want more referees in grassroots football, we need to support the ones already stepping forward.
Because it's simple...
No referee.
No match.
