New committee details!

Following our AGM on Wednesday, there are some changes to the committee.

Our wonderful Co-Chairs Rosie and Cathy and brilliant Treasurer Joe have stepped down as their youngest children are now in Y6. Luckily, they’ll still be on the committee until next summer!

The new lineup is:

Co-chair - Zoey
Co-chair - Steph
Secretary - Olivia
Treasurer - Lauren
Trustees - Jenny, Kate, Rosie, Cathy, Joe
Staff liaison - Miss Vickers

We know you’re not going anywhere just yet but we couldn’t let the end of your time as Co-Chair of Carfield Friends pass without saying just how much you mean to us and to the whole Carfield community.

You have given so much of your time, energy and heart to Carfield, always going above and beyond with such care and dedication. You’ve made a real and lasting difference, and your legacy will be felt at Carfield for many, many years to come.

You should be so incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved and of all the people, children and families you’ve helped along the way. Carfield really has been so lucky to have you.

We’re going to miss you more than you know - although we’re very glad you’re not disappearing completely just yet!

Our brilliant Treasurer Joe has stepped down as his youngest is now in Y6. He’ll still be on the committee until next summer though!

A huge thank you for all your hard work, time and commitment as Treasurer of Carfield Friends. Your support (and spreadsheet wizardry!) has helped make so many amazing experiences and opportunities possible for the children.

You’re such a great part of the team and we’re so pleased that we get to keep you with us on the committee for another year!

Carfield Friends PTA is fundraising to help our school purchase a much-needed minibus for our children.

A school minibus would give our pupils greater access to educational trips, sporting events, outdoor learning, competitions and community activities. It would provide more opportunities for our children to learn, explore and experience activities beyond the school.

We are asking our school community, families and friends to support us through donations.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference and bring us one step closer to reaching our fundraising target.
