Huge Announcement!! 🎉🎉

We are extremely happy to announce that Lynne Urpeth will be joining The Suit Works as our new CEO!! ⭐️

This marks an exciting new chapter for us and Lynne brings years of experience in the charity sector, fresh ideas and enthusiasm for building on everything the charity has achieved so far. ❤️

She has been with us for a week and is already well and truly part of the team. Not only has she been getting stuck in behind the scenes, she has delivered several sessions with clients and is a huge hit!💃

Lynne says, “Joining The Suit Works as CEO is an absolute honour. This charity changes lives in a very real way — restoring confidence, dignity, and opportunity for people who are ready to take their next step. I’m committed to building on the success The Suit Works has achieved under Faye’s leadership, driving even greater impact and leading the organisation into a future where more individuals feel empowered to succeed.”

Feedback like this means the world! We’re a small, independent charity and each client we meet are important to us.

At The Suit Works, we help and support unemployed people of all ages who are trying to get into work by giving them a styling session and smart interview appropriate clothing when they do not have, or are unable to afford to buy anything suitable.

We believe that giving clients a styling session and beautiful, good quality, clothing to attend their interview has a transformative effect on them and can significantly impact on their self esteem and self respect.

After a short summer break from events and job fairs, we are back!!!

We are looking forward to the next Opportunity Sheffield Jobs Fair on Thursday 24 September, 10am to 1pm at Zest, 18 Upperthorpe, Sheffield, S6 3NA.

There will be loads of organisations there with live vacancies, aswell as services like ours who are on hand to support you/your clients into their next role!

No need to register – just come along between 10am and 1pm.

🎉Team Update!🎉

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our volunteer team; the fabulous Betty! She has already made a huge impact in organising our stock! 🥰

Not only are we celebrating her arrival to our busy wardrobe, we are also celebrating her birthday today! 🎉

Our stylist and Betty are kindred spirits and we are already separating them at regular intervals! 😆💝 Definitely the mark of a winning team!

All clients have been informed and appointments rearranged , but if you were planning on dropping a donation off, please hold onto it until next week. 🙏

Thank you to the Home Office in Sheffield for holding a Clothing Drive for The Suit Works!

We rely on donations of workwear for our clients and to help our tiny team of staff and volunteers to be able to spend time with clients, we have high standards of quality control for our donations!

Think:
🌟 IS IT CLEAN?
🌟 IS IT IN EXCELLENT CONDITION?
🌟 WOULD YOU WEAR IT FOR AN INTERVIEW?

We don’t accept sportswear, denim, underwear, damaged items or dirty clothes.

Thank you to the staff at the Home Office in Sheffield for collecting such high quality work wear for us!
