Thank you for all the condolences and kind messages shared over the past weeks. Your compassion has been deeply felt by Pious’ family, his children, his friends, everyone at ASSIST, and the wider community. This outpouring of support is a true reflection of his kind character, fierce dedication to challenging unjust practices in the UK, and the countless lives he touched and stood alongside in solidarity. ✊🏽

We are currently raising funds to cover the costs of Pious’ repatriation and funeral. Please consider donating here: https://gofund.me/0586825a

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure he can be laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.

We also want to acknowledge that close partner organisations have set up a similar fundraiser on another platform. This is a legitimate effort, and like ours, all contributions will go directly towards the same purpose: supporting funeral costs and honouring Pious’ memory.

Thank you again for your generosity and for helping us celebrate Pious’ life and legacy. 🧡
