You guys bring a great attitude and weā€™re slowly building an amazing class together. I also love the fact that you request hard songs, getting a proper workout wether we like it or not šŸ¤£

This Saturday 10th October, it's World Pickleball Day and we're celebrating at Courtside at Hillsborough Park!

From 10am to 12pm, Sheffield Pickleball Club are hosting a free pickleball taster session that gives you the opportunity to try the sport and learn from coaches who already love it.

Then, in the afternoon we're hosting a social tournament. Its a chance to test your skills in a fun and friendly matchplay session, with the support from the Sheffield Pickleball Club team.

The mornings are darker, the evenings are shorter, itā€™s colder outside and suddenly staying in bed sounds very tempting....

The mornings are darker, the evenings are shorter, itā€™s colder outside and suddenly staying in bed sounds very tempting...

But motivation isnā€™t always going to show up first. Sometimes you just have to get dressed, grab your racket and start.

A few things that help me stay consistent:
šŸŽ¾ Book sessions in advance
šŸ‚ Set small goals instead of waiting for big results
šŸ’Ŗ Focus on how youā€™ll feel AFTER training

You donā€™t need to be motivated every day. You just need to keep showing up.

Starting tennis is humbling...

Thereā€™s so much we wish we knew before picking up a racket, from choosing the right equipment to accepting that missing the ball 10 times in a row is completely normal.

If youā€™re new to tennis, save this for your next session and remember: you donā€™t have to be good at it to enjoy it. Just keep showing up, keep learning, and have fun with it
