π WHY ARE JENNA & JODIE RUNNING FOR HOPE? π
When Jenna and Jodie lost their mum, Janet, in a tragic house fire earlier this year, their world changed forever.
Nothing can take away the pain of losing a loved one so suddenly, but during the difficult months that followed, they discovered something important: specialist support exists for families facing traumatic bereavement.
That's where HOPE South Yorkshire Trauma Support comes in.
For nearly two decades, HOPE has been supporting children, young people, adults and families who have experienced the sudden and traumatic loss of a loved one. Whether through road traffic collisions, fires, drowning incidents or other devastating events, we help people navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
For Jenna and Jodie, knowing that support like this is available for families during their darkest times meant a great deal.
While their grief journey continues, they wanted to do something positive in memory of their mum. They wanted to help ensure that other families experiencing similar heartbreak can access the support they need when they need it most.
So today, they'll take on an incredible challenge:
πββοΈ Six continuous hours of running
πββοΈ Lap after lap around Doncaster Lakeside
πββοΈ All in memory of Janet
πββοΈ All for HOPE
Every mile they run represents strength, love and remembrance.
Every donation helps HOPE continue providing vital support to families affected by traumatic bereavement.
And every share helps spread awareness that no one should have to face trauma and loss alone.
Please join us in supporting Jenna & Jodie as they turn their grief into something powerful and meaningful for others. π
