The 3rd Desi Fest 2026 was another amazing success!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special. Seeing thousands of people from different backgrounds come together to , , and community was truly inspiring.

This event would not have been possible without our incredible volunteers, , , , Partner Sunrise Radio other partners and supporters. Your hard work and dedication made the festival a memorable experience for everyone.

A special thank you to our funders Art Council England, Sheffield City Council, and the North East Local Area Committee for their invaluable support in helping make this event possible.

We would also like to thank to Deputy Lieutenant Akeela Din Mohammed DL, Mayor of Rotherham Councillor Haroon Rasheed and our local councillors, community leaders, community activist our hero Aroob Haroon emergency services South Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, Also Weston Park Cancer Charity, Sheffield Familiy Hub, Friends Of Frith Park, Other partner organisations Reach Up Youth, Pakistan Muslim Centre, Sheffield , Sunrit Culture, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to ensure the festival was safe, welcoming and enjoyable for all.
