Brigantes of Wincobank Hill Iron Age Living-history/Re-enactment group The Brigantes of Wincobank Hill are a sister group to the Friends of Wincobank Hill.

We are a re-enactment/living history group who bring to life the story of the Brigante Queen Cartimandua and the Chieftain of the Catuvellauni tribe, Caratacus. The story we vividly bring to life in particular, is where Caratacus seeks aid from Queen Cartimandua to help rebel against the invading Romans, however Cartimandua ruthlessly betrays Caratacus and despicably hands him over to the awaiting Roman General, Publius Ostorius Scapula.

Come and join the Friends of Wincobank Hill and North Sheffield Conservation Group on Sat 30 May and Saturday 6 June at Upper Wincobank Chapel, Wincobank Avenue.
The volunteers will be clearing the garden behind the Chapel House, next to the Chapel itself on the first Saturday and then moving all the rubbish into a skip on the second Saturday.
You would be very welcome and refreshments are provided.
Come along between 10am and around 12.30pm.
