A man in Yemen arrived at the bakery before the trays were even brought out.

Not because he wanted more.

Because he wanted certainty.

That matters more than people realize.

When food insecurity becomes routine, consistency becomes deeply personal.

Knowing something will still be there tomorrow changes how people move through the day.

The bakery provides more than bread.

It provides predictability.

Families know where to go.

They know when it opens.

They know there’s at least a chance they won’t go home empty-handed.

£40 helps produce around 1,500 bread rolls daily for families across Yemen.

A volunteer handed out fruit to children gathered outside.

Most reached forward immediately.

One boy didn’t.

The orphaned child stayed seated and watched the others first.

Not shy.

Just careful.

Eventually, someone walked over and placed fruit directly into his hands.

Only then did he smile.

You notice these things after a while.

Some children stop asking because they’ve learned disappointment too early.

That’s why orphan support is more than covering expenses.

It restores a sense of normal childhood that scarcity slowly removes.

Meals.

Clothing.

School support.

Consistency.

Things children should not have to worry about in the first place.

The bakery was already warm before sunrise.

You could smell the bread from outside long before the first tray came out.

A boy in Yemen stood near the entrance holding bread from the day before under his arm.

Not eating it.

Saving it.

The fresh bread hadn’t even come out yet, and the older bread was still important enough to keep.

That tells you everything.

In many homes, bread is no longer something eaten with the meal.

It is the meal.

That is why the bakery matters every single day.

Not as a seasonal project.

Not as an occasional relief effort.

But as something families quietly rely on to keep going.

£40 helps produce around 1,500 bread rolls, feeding close to 300 families in a single day.

Eid Mubarak.

The morning feels calmer.

The prayer has passed.

The day begins to settle.

In many homes, meals are being prepared.

In others, something has just arrived that made that possible.

Qurbani becomes part of those moments.

Not something seen directly.

But something felt.

Families in Yemen are experiencing Eid in a way that would not have been possible otherwise.

If you’ve already given, that is part of what you made possible.

If you haven’t yet, you can still take part here:

A working father in Yemen held onto folded money longer than necessary.

The father knew what it was for.

But had not acted on it yet.

Today is the Day of Arafah.

A day that feels different, even without being loud.

A day where what has been delayed feels harder to ignore.

Qurbani sits right in that space.

Not complicated.

Just waiting to be acted on.

A small animal for £85 reaches a family in need.

A £93 share extends that moment to more households.

A £650 full animal feeds many families at once.

If the decision is already there, today is a good day to act on it.

In many homes, preparation for Eid has already begun.

Food is being planned.

Meals are being discussed.

But in other homes, everything depends on what arrives.

Families in Yemen cannot plan the same way.

Qurbani becomes part of that difference.

A small animal for £85 reaches one household.

A £93 share reaches more.

A £650 full animal reaches many families at once.

This is how one decision becomes part of someone else’s Eid.

Many people have already decided to give.

But the action hasn’t followed yet.

The intention is there.

It just keeps getting pushed forward.

This is where Qurbani often sits.

Something already understood.

But not yet done.

A small animal for £85 supports a family directly.

A £93 share supports multiple households.

A £650 full animal feeds many families at once.

If it’s still on your mind, it’s not by accident.
