Employment and wellbeing services from South Yorkshire Housing Association. Good Work can support you to find, stay, and thrive in employment. Good Work is part-funded by the European Social Fund, and The National Lottery Community Fund.

Our JobsPlus team are hosting a Work and Wellbeing Fair in Maltby next week!

Our team of employment specialists are working on a pioneering new study, to transform how we tackle homelessness, by testing the effectiveness of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to break the cycle of homelessness for thousands of people.

They'll be at The GlassWorks Barnsley Market, tomorrow (Wednesday), so if you're experiencing homelessness or supporting people experiencing homelessness, and would like to find out more about the employment support we can provide, please come along to meet our friendly team. 🥰

Our team are working with people experiencing homelessness aged 18+ in Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield to provide employment support and ultimately find work that's right for them. 🥰

Our JobsPlus team is supporting the local community in by donating to their foodbank. Barry and Rachel went to the St Mary Magdalene Church Foodbank last week to donate toys, games and books that had been donated by our colleagues at South Yorkshire Housing Association.

Here is Barry with the brilliant foodbank volunteers, Angela and Jackie, who gratefully received the donations and will distribute them to people in the local community. 🥰

Helen from our brilliant JobsPlus team in East Maltby, had a great time at the Maltby Academy Careers Event! 😍

She had the pleasure of speaking to over 100 fantastic young people about careers, job opportunities and how JobsPlus can support them. Helen also enjoyed connecting with other organisations and local employers.
