Assalamu Alaikum.

As part of its ongoing community and social welfare initiatives, Sheffield Muslim Society (SMS) organised a voluntary street-cleaning activity around Baitul Mukarram Mosque, London Road, Sheffield.

It was wonderful to see our dedicated volunteers, alongside children from the community, working together to help keep the local area clean and welcoming. Such activities not only contribute to a cleaner environment but also encourage a strong sense of community responsibility, teamwork, and social awareness among the younger generation.

A sincere thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their valuable time and effort.

Sheffield Muslim Society (SMS) recently organised a voluntary street cleaning campaign as part of its ongoing community initiatives. This activity reflects a long-standing commitment to serving the local community.

Through events like these, SMS aims to promote social responsibility and raise awareness—particularly among younger generations—about the importance of contributing positively to society.

❤️ Sharing Eid with Other Faiths ❤️

Insha’Allah, we intend to share 300 Eid food packs with the wider community. Along with each pack, we will distribute four Islamic dawah books:
• Concept of God
• Common Questions & Answers about Islam and Muslims
• Qur’an & Science
• What the Bible Says About Muhammad (PBUH)

📖 Free English translations of the Qur’an will also be available for anyone who wishes to take a copy.

We warmly invite you and your kids to join us in this blessed dawah initiative. Your presence and participation will help foster understanding, compassion, and unity within our community.

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:

“O you who believe! Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you.”
— Surah An-Nisa (4:59)

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim
