A little artistic inspiration at Ascend! 🎨

Before the half-term break, our Nottingham group caught the bus to Nottingham Contemporary to explore a new exhibition by local artist Sarah Cunningham.

Inspired by the landscapes of Wollaton Deer Park and the Peruvian jungle, Sarah's artwork has given the group plenty of ideas of their own!

A big thank you to LUSH Meadowhall for treating our Ascend group to a Halloween potion-making session!

Everyone had a brilliant time getting creative and mixing up their own spooky concoctions! 🧙‍♀️✨

Service users at Ascend spent some time out in the community today, visiting charity shops along the high street and making their own choices based on their interests. 🛍️

The trip was a good opportunity to practise decision-making and independence, before heading to a local green space to enjoy lunch outdoors. 🌳🥪
