Why not join us for our next balsam bashing dates?...
Sunday 28th June from 10 til 12 and
Monday 29th June from 3 til 5.
Meet at the café.
Even if you can only join us for half an hour, it'll be a big help.
Thanks to the 16 awesome bashers this week. 👏 With a similar effort next week, our target area by the bandstand clearing will be balsam free. 😊 Wear sturdy footwear, long legs, long sleeves and gloves.

BALSAM BASH!
Himalayan Balsam is an invasive plant that is getting out of hand in Dunwood park and smothering all of the other plants along the stream and in the woods. We need to bash it before it sets seed. Can you lend a hand?
We will be meeting on 20th June 10am until 12pm and 22nd June 10am until 12pm. Even if you only join us for half an hour it'd be a big help. Meet at the cafe. Wear long sleeves and trousers and gloves. Keep your eye on our page for further dates.

Thank you to Mad Dog Construction Uk for a recent donation to the Friends of Dunwood Park after doing some work on a site nearby and seeing just how beautiful our park is and the amount of TLC we put into it.
