Isle of Wight Street Pastors

17/06/2026

🎪 Isle of Wight Street Pastors are proud to be supporting the Isle of Wight Festival throughout the weekend.

Our dedicated volunteers will be out and about across the festival site, Newport, and surrounding areas, offering a friendly face, practical support, welfare assistance, and a listening ear to festival-goers, local residents, and volunteers alike.

We also have 2 open safe spaces this year. Pop in and say Hi 👋

We are committed to helping keep our community safe, caring for those who may be vulnerable, and working alongside partner agencies to ensure everyone can enjoy the festival responsibly.

If you see a Street Pastor during the weekend, please come and say hello - we’d love to meet you!

Most importantly bring hats, wear suncream and drink plenty of water 💧 🌞

Interested in making a difference in your community? We are currently recruiting new volunteers. To find out more, contact [email protected].

Isle of Wight Festival 2025!

What a weekend attending the IW Festival. Our first time hosting an internal safe space, as well as carrying out our patrols.

Whilst I must say a MASSIVE thank you to all of our hardworking volunteers who made this weekend possible. I would also like to say a special thank you to our hosts and donators. As well as the biggest thanks to our Street Pastor Co-ordinator Suzanne, Trustee Kevin and Sally and Tony from The Church on the Roundabout. Without all of them this weekend would not have been possible.

We are in the process of thanking everyone personally but I feel you all deserved some recognition of your efforts and dedication right now! Please rest now and stay safe.

With love from the Isle of Wight Street Pators team.
