Warning Distressing Pics !! ⚠️🚫 It's been a long night here sadly with Milson who despite us being so vigilant managed to get flystrike again !! 😞He's rather prone to it sadly due to his rather fluffy but dense fur !! We believe he got wet from the rain and his warm body was the ideal place where his tail rests against his rump ! He's a clean boy underneath and free roams the garden with Pepper but has a lovely big dry enclosure. He had been treated 2 days ago but like last year it seems the rain prob washed it off again. After being up all night saving his life we've taken him to our vet Jordan this morning for a check up and got some antibiotics. Please be very careful to check your animals twice a day even a clean rabbit living the best life can get flystrike as Milson keeps proving !! Time is critical and its an emergency Do not wait if you find it you need a vet ASAP. He's one lucky boy again but it's heartbreaking every time !! Milson is a Lionhead and very high maintenance despite his lurring cuteness. We personally wouldn't recommend them unless your very knowledgeable and serious about rabbits and as an adult would care for them. 🐇❤️
