‘A book to savour month by month as the seasons turn. Loved it!’ – Lara Maiklem, author of Mudlarking

Fresh from the BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme and BBC Breakfast, author and natural navigator Tristan Gooley  joins the Sevenoaks Literary Festival this Thursday.

Explore the seasons through the prism of nature’s clues and signs with the help of the man named the ‘Sherlock Holmes of Nature’ by BBC Radio 4. The bestselling author will reveal the little-known gems to look for each month in this richly illustrated talk.

The Hidden Seasons shows us how to read the clues most miss and inspires us to explore nature’s signs for ourselves, giving rich insights into our turning year. The seasons will never look, sound or smell the same again.

Yesterday’s Sunday Times devoted a full page to Juliet Nicolson’s dazzling new book, The Book of Revelations.

Columnist India Knight called it:
“An engrossing and timely book about women and their secrets, from the 1950s to the present day... Juliet Nicolson also weaves her own family secrets through the book. Her father, Nigel, was the son of Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson, itself a relationship steeped in secrets.”

The Book of Revelations is published this Thursday, and even better, Juliet Nicolson will be joining us in person at the festival! Juliet will be in conversation this Friday with the brilliant literary critic Suzi Feay . Be sure to join us…book tickets via link in our bio.
