Our West Kent Hygiene Bank is supporting around 740 families via our trusted distribution partners that include 7 food banks, 7 schools and the women’s refuge to name just some. Sometimes we get offered donations like these gorgeous baby items, that don’t fall with our remit, but because we work with trusted partners in the community from social services to schools, we always know of families who would love to have them. together

This reel from makes light of the slightly unpleasant side of what we sometimes find in our donation boxes - from half eaten sandwiches to used toothbrushes and old, used make-up.

For health and safety reasons we can only accept NEW, IN-DATE and UNOPENED items, but if you have opened products like nappies, consider whether someone else you know could make use of them 💛. A helpful rule of thumb 👍 when donating: if you wouldn’t like to receive it yourself, would someone else?
