πŸ‘€ We're back with another look at life behind the scenes at West Kent, this time spending the day with our Resident Involvement team.

From meeting residents and gathering feedback, to helping us understand the experiences behind complaints and tenant satisfaction measures (TSMs), the team works with colleagues across West Kent to make sure resident voices are heard and acted upon.

Whether it's through scrutiny panels, resident inspections, mystery shopping, service reviews or helping shape new developments, resident involvement helps us understand what's working well, where we can improve and how we can deliver better services for our communities.

There are lots of ways for you to have your say and make a difference. To find out more, visit westkent.org/residentinvolvement πŸ’™

Miss B* was finding it difficult to manage important forms, appointments and changes to her benefits. Without support, she risked losing income and falling further behind with her rent.

By working alongside the local council and support services, our Welfare Benefits team helped get things back on track. They secured the support Miss B was entitled to, including Limited Capability for Work and Work-Related Activity (LCWRA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP), cleared more than Β£3,000 in rent arrears and helped keep her safe in her home.

Today, Miss B has the right support in place, greater financial stability and a more positive outlook for the future.
