Sessay Village Hall see SVH 2024 Village Hall and Playing Fields operating for the benefit of the local community in Sessay and Hutton Sessay.

Sessay Village Hall was opened by TV personality, Richard Whiteley on 18th September 1971 and is run by the Sessay Community Trust. The Hall is well used by many in the local community and boasts a large hall with fixed stage, seating for up to 120 guests, along with a smaller meeting/tea room, kitchen, bar and recently refurbished children’s play area. It hosts a wide range of groups and activiti

es including Art Classes, Yoga, Rural Arts performances, Women’s Institute, Children’s Sports clubs, Carpet Bowls, Tuesday Club, Parish Council, Parochial Church Council and local Primary School celebratory performances. It is also the home of the renowned Sessay Cricket Club and Sessay Bowls Club. It holds regular live music events, quizzes, dances, christenings and birthday parties.
