🐾 COULD YOU FOSTER A DOBERMANN? 🐾
We’re delighted to have found a foster home for Sonny, but rescue never really stops — and we never know when the next Dobermann will need our help. ❤️
That’s why we’re looking for foster homes across Scotland to join our waiting list, ready to help when a dog comes into our care.
Having approved fosterers ready and waiting can make an enormous difference. It can mean that when a dog suddenly needs somewhere safe to go, we already have someone we can call rather than having to start our search from scratch.
🏡 What does fostering involve?
Our fosterers provide a safe, loving home while we get to know the dog and find the right permanent home for them. Scottish Dobermann Rescue remains responsible for the dog throughout the foster period and covers agreed veterinary costs.
We need fosterers with all kinds of circumstances. Some dogs need to be the only pet, some can live with other dogs, and their needs and personalities vary enormously — so the more approved foster homes we have, the better chance we have of finding the right match when a dog needs us.
You don’t need to be ready to take a dog right now. We’re looking for people who would be happy to complete our application and home-check process and join our foster waiting list for future dogs.
📍 Foster homes must be based in Scotland.
If you’ve ever thought about fostering a Dobermann, now is a great time to get in touch.
You might not know which dog needs you yet — but when that call comes, having a foster home ready could change everything for them. ❤️🐾
Please get in touch with us or complete our application form if you’d like to be considered as a fosterer.
