Selkirk Detectorists

Selkirk Detectorists Discovering Selkirkshire's rich history,
one find at a time.

We Are Lisa and Keith, a couple who live and work in the beautiful royal burgh of Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. Our interest in metal detecting has brought us countless finds, from bronze age to the present day, recording local history as we go. For us it's all about finding, recording and preserving history, and sharing our finds with local historians and museums so we can better understand the rich history of our local area.

Both found by Lisa Stephenson The jury is out on the lead weight, but the lid is from a silver trinket box, probably late Victorian/Edwardian.
Thanks to Paul Robertson for his ID on the trinket box lid.
