Sypco Since July 2016, SYPCO has been helping young adults with specific learning difficulties to fulfil their potential.

Having been looking for a mini bus to seat 8 people and a wheel chair I was told to call Community House Selby, to find out they had yesterday sold their mini bus.
So does this mean that we do not have any vehicles to carry this amount of people around the Selby area for a few hours during the day.
If anyone can help please make contact.

Selby Young People’s Community Organisation

SYPCO is a not for profit organisation, which provides support for people 18 years and upwards with specific learning difficulties, autism and mental health needs. We are currently opened 3 days in a week, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

People visiting our company have the opportunity to learn the following:


  • Life Skills Through the ASDAN 'Towards Independence' course, service users will work towards an individual programme of support. This may include travel training, money management, budgeting money, healthy eating, preparation and cooking of meals, managing relationships, looking after themselves and house care skills.

  • Arts and Crafts Enterprise We will be supporting service users to make a wide variety of arts and crafts goods to sell in local pop up shops. As a co-operative all money made from the sale of these products will be invested back into SYPCO.
