Hello!

We have a young cockerel called Simon. He’s less than a year old but since he found his lovely Baritone voice about a month ago it hasn’t gone down well with our neighbours.

Reluctantly, we need to re-home him to loving new home . We don’t want him destroyed. He’s very tame and feeds from our hands. And he’s a real ladies man!

Thanks to our sister Fresh Start for Hens collection points, the wider Fresh Start for Hens network and some lovely rehomers these boys have now all found new homes 😀

Five more handsome boys arrived at Selby looking for new homes. All very well natured.

Two lovely cockerels at Living Potential Care Farm (Wetherby) looking for new homes. We can bring them to the Selby collection point for collection.

In 2025 Selby collection point rehomed 1254 hens and transported 10333 hens to collection points across England and Wales. Thanks to all the volunteers involved and a big thank you to everyone who has given a hen a new home.
Lets do it all again next year!
