A fabulous concert by Guy Johnston and Tom Poster last night brings our 2025 season to a close. We have heard some wonderful music, welcomed many new faces and generally enjoyed good company and amazing artists. A big thank you to all our supporters. It was a fitting conclusion to my last season as Chairman - I retire after 20 years at the helm. Derek Lake is taking over as Chairman and I look forward to another great season in 2026.

What a fabulous sold out concert from the amazing Jeneba Kanneh-Mason last night. The audience was on their feet at the end. And for those who wanted to know, her encore was the last movement of Prokofiev’s 7th sonata. Two more concerts to go.
