Today myself Gavin Perry and Kevin Toft along with other SERVE ERG from Catalent at Swindon cycled 28 miles visiting war memorials at Seend, Melksham, Lacock and Corsham then arriving at the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Base at Semington. Massive thanks and appreciation to the crew and staff for letting us see the helicopter and even sitting in it. A pleasure raising funds for this amazing charity. Our membership secretary Gavin Perry had very successful Cake Bake at work yesterday supporting the SERVE ERG of which I am the Lead in their fundraiser for the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance.
Massive thankyou and appreciation to work colleagues who provided cakes and other delicious treats but especially to friends and neighbour Dns Kent Black Forest Cake and my great friend from Birmingham Kay Robbins Kayke Creations Victoria Sponge Cake who kindly donated a cake to support this great and worthy cause.
Finally a big thankyou to all those work colleagues who visited us and donated to the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance.
My heartfelt appreciation to all for making this a very successful Cake bake. Myself and our Standard Bearer Kevin Toft are looking forward to the second part of this fundraiser a 2 day charity bike ride and camp 24th / 25th July and hope to see you at our branch BBQ on the evening of the 24th at the Seend Centre

A reminder that on Friday 17th April at the Seend Centre our Branch annual lecture is an updated talk by Air Chief Marshal Sir John Cheshire KBE CB on "What makes Putin Tick" taking into account events in Ukraine.
We are also holding a silent auction for a fantastic bronze sculpture, sculptured in cold cast bronze by the late Peter Hicks a former branch member for the village of Seend to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth.
