Did you know, this month is our second birthday?

We have been running our wonderful Repair Cafe two whole years!! 🎉🥳🎂

In that time we have completed an enormous 544 repairs 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The top 5 most common items we fix are:

1: Kitchen Appliances
2: Vaccum cleaners and steam mops
3: Clocks ans watches
4: Sewing repairs
5: Bikes and toys

Some of the most memorable repairs have been:

- Cuckoo clocks - who knew there were so many in Seaham? 😅

- A teddy with a voice recording of a lady’s late Mum. It was a real privilege to fix this one ❤️

- A 1950’s radio 📻

- An ebike 🚲

- A steam powered car 🚗

- A wonderful old dolls house

- A very old child’s stool, which had been in a family for generations 🪑

We LOVE to see your weird and wonderful items, and we can repair so much thanks to our skilled team of volunteers.
