Hugely successful the society continues to grow and each year is celebrated with a spectacular procession, bonfire and firework display. As well as putting on a show to remember for Seaford town each year the members attend bonfire processions in towns and villages throughout Sussex between September and November.These evenings are great fun, meeting members of other societies and seeing the different traditions. The rest of the year is spent raising funds to cover the cost of hosting Seaford Bonfire Night by organising social events, running stalls at fetes and marshaling local events. A proportion of the money raised each year also goes to supporting local charities. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of residents, other organisations, local businesses, Seaford Town Council and of course our members. Bonfire is a long standing Sussex tradition and Seaford is one of the oldest societies. As with most things we constantly strive to surpass the previous year’s event and are always on the look out for new members to help achieve bigger and better: the more ‘hands on deck’ the more ambitious we can be! Why not come along to one of our meetings on the first Thursday of the month at the White Lion Hotel, Seaford? Or talk to our members at one of the many fundraising events in Seaford where we have our stall.

🎟️ BINGO NIGHT IS BACK! 🎟️

Tickets are now available for our upcoming Bingo Night on Friday 27th November!
Tickets: £8 per ticket (includes 6 games of bingo!)

Drinks: Our bar will be open, with drinks available for a "donation" 🍻
Prizes: Fantastic raffle prizes as well as great Bingo prizes up for grabs! 🏆

As always, we need your support to raise as much money as possible to keep our annual bonfire tradition going strong.

As another year of hard work and planning continues for Seaford Bonfire Society, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to everyone at The White Lion Pub & Hotel. 🦁

Hosting our open meetings and numerous other sessions throughout the year is no small task, but you always welcome us with open arms. We especially want to commend the dedicated bar staff, who effortlessly manage the sea of members piling in after our meetings—always with a smile and top-tier service! 🍻

Most importantly, we want to recognize the Tracy family. Your ongoing support, generosity, and everything you do for the Bonfire Society behind the scenes throughout the year means the world to us. Every single kind gesture is hugely appreciated by all our members.
