Hugely successful the society continues to grow and each year is celebrated with a spectacular procession, bonfire and firework display. As well as putting on a show to remember for Seaford town each year the members attend bonfire processions in towns and villages throughout Sussex between September and November.These evenings are great fun, meeting members of other societies and seeing the diffe

rent traditions. The rest of the year is spent raising funds to cover the cost of hosting Seaford Bonfire Night by organising social events, running stalls at fetes and marshaling local events. A proportion of the money raised each year also goes to supporting local charities. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of residents, other organisations, local businesses, Seaford Town Council and of course our members. Bonfire is a long standing Sussex tradition and Seaford is one of the oldest societies. As with most things we constantly strive to surpass the previous year’s event and are always on the look out for new members to help achieve bigger and better: the more ‘hands on deck’ the more ambitious we can be! Why not come along to one of our meetings on the first Thursday of the month at the White Lion Hotel, Seaford? Or talk to our members at one of the many fundraising events in Seaford where we have our stall.

🎇🎇 SBS open meeting 🎇🎇

Everybody is invited to the open meeting. It starts at 7: 30 pm at the White Lion pub in Seaford in the back room

Come and meet some of our amazing members. They make this event possible!

You can join on the open meetings and then all you've got to do is get your costume ready for the big night The bonfire season isn't just one night. There are many events to attend throughout the whole of the southeast of England so if you're thinking about joining now's your opportunity.
